Jennifer Harshman
More than two decades of experience and education give Jennifer Harshman substantial knowledge in her main areas: medical issues, psychology, education and caring for children. Her skills resulted in a mention in Parenting Magazine's June 2009 issue ("Health Milestones"). A "heart of a teacher" gives her the ability and desire to share knowledge with others in many ways. Writing allows her to leverage her time and effort to help more people.
Jennifer began ghostwriting, proofreading and editing in 1993. In 2003, she began writing for the web, and is currently involved with
- ghostwriting and other freelance writing
- creating website content
- consulting and serving small businesses and entrepreneurs new to the web
- proofreading and copy editing (discounts for students)
- family and community commitments
Jennifer strives to be an 80/20 individual and tries to focus on what she does best. Clients have used the term "gift" to describe the way typographical errors jump out at her and the way she can "nail it" (sense what a client needs). She's read more than 15,000 books, and has earned the nickname "Bibliophage" (book eater).
Readers are welcome to find her on Facebook (Jennifer.Harshman) (just mention S101) and/or on Twitter (JRHarshman).
